About us

Our ideas
Our ideas are born from the minds of a small group of people, all Tuscan, with different attitudes, knowledge and skills.
Ideas that are born in Tuscan culture, that of Leonardo Da Vinci, Duccio, Simone Martini, Piero della Francesca, Francesco di Giorgio Martini, Brunelleschi, Galileo.
However, and luckily, we know our limits, which is why we limit ourselves to doing only what we know about, following the philosophy of our grandparents (who knew a lot): “One mind produces great works, many minds produce very great works, too many minds produce nothing good”.
Our machines
All machines are designed primarily for educational purposes, but which can also form a wonderful collection, are designed and manufactured on the basis of Leonardo da Vinci’s drawings and studies.
For this reason, we have named them “LeoMachines”. Each object in the “LeoMachines” collection is made in Tuscany, with wood coming largely from the scraps of the local artisan woodworkers. The objects are supplied in assembly boxes. Each box contains assembly instructions.
All our knowledge has its origins in our perceptions.
Nature is the source of all true knowledge. She has her own logic, her own laws, she has no effect without cause nor invention without necessity.
The Machines
Our philosophy is to recycle
The protection of a raw material such as wood can also start from careful management of the production cycle. Through the recovery and reuse of waste material, in fact, it is possible to significantly reduce the processing waste that would otherwise accumulate.
The waste obtained from the processing of inlays and friezes of “Multitranciati” is largely reused to produce new objects, which in this way do not involve either the accumulation of waste or the felling of new trees.
A meeting of generations
Since we are convinced, as Flaiano said, that the worst that can happen to a genius is to be understood, we decided to make available to our guests a reserved space with everything needed for experimentation, without having to explain your intentions to others.
Materials, fragments of ideas, tranquility and some disturbing images, like the large dragonfly fluttering above your head, is all you need to let your imagination fly: the airplane at the entrance to the room could serve this purpose.
